Well as most everyone already knows this week is going to be a big one for our 1.6 team. After all the hard work they have put into the ESEA and CEVO seasons, going 12-4 in ESEA Main regular season and fighting out the 8th position in CEVO's professional division. They will be traveling to Dallas, TX to compete in the Arbalet Cup. They did not make it where they needed to be to participate in the LAN finals, but they will still have a great chance to compete for the $80,000 prize purse of the largest Counter-Strike tournament in the USA since CPL. There will be 32 teams competing July 16-18, most from the United States, but at least 10 from other countries. This should be an exciting event, and we hope to see Vicious-Gaming participating in more and more of these tournaments.
Our team members will be arriving in Dallas on the 13th and leaving on the 19th of July. They will have plenty of time to get ready in Dallas prior to the tournament. I will keep everyone up to date with any information while they are in Dallas, and also with any HLTVs to watch during the match. Everything should be available to the public through ESEA News (www.eseanews.com)

Ok, so it really has been a long time since I have updated. Rosters will be updated on the site soon. Also, I will discuss some things about Vicious-Gaming that should be happening shortly. As of now all our team will remain how they are, but could be some changes ahead. I will have any changes completed prior to the seasons of ESEA or any big LAN tournaments. Please keep up to date with everything that is going on with Vicious-Gaming in our IRC channel, #vicious-gaming. I will keep everyone posted up to the day in the topic, I am slacking on the website, but will have a bit more time to work with it now.

Ok, first off very sorry for not being as active. Here we go with our Vicious-Gaming update. As far as our teams go so far, we have our Counter-Strike 1.6, Team Fortress 2 and Quake Live teams still with us at this point. We are currently in the process of picking up a new Counter-Strike Source team, so if any team is interested please email corey@vicious-gaming.com with an inquiry.
On the ESEA side of things, our Counter-Strike team is coming back after two tough losses early in the season. They have now bounced back to 4-2 and in the top 15 rankings again for ESEA Main. This weeks matches are against some fairly decent opponents. Let's hope that our team strives to a 6-2 start and on there way to the top of ESEA Main. Our Team Fortress 2 team is amazing, that is all I have to say. They are now 6-0 and are awaiting probably the toughest matches they will see the rest of the season in the upcoming two weeks. They will be facing the last two undefeated teams as well as two 5-1 teams, all wanting to give them a tough time throughout the open season. If they can pull all four of these matches off they will start off at 10-0 and at the top of open by far. I wish them luck in there upcoming matches. Updates are in our IRC channel, #vicious-gaming and will be kept better on the website.

With ESEA about to start, I would like to congratulate all of our teams for being able to make it into the Invite polls(which really doesn't mean anything though). All 3 teams on ESEA placed in the top of their divisions last season and are all seeded high for the upcoming seasons. The updated rosters for the 3 teams are as follows:
I know this is a little over a week late, but I would like everyone to welcome our new Counter-Strike Source team to Vicious-Gaming. After a lot of drama and dealing with unstable teams I have decided to pick up Focal Point/Team Blindside as our new Source team. They are currently CEVO-Main and ESEA-Main. Last season of ESEA-IM they went 11-5 in the regular season and finished 2-2 in playoffs. They played very well in my opinion and that is why I am glad to see them come play under Vicious-Gaming. We will look forward to seeing how they perform in the upcoming seasons.
I think they have potential to breeze through playoffs to ensure a top 4 spot in ESEA as well as CEVO. Let's hope they do that, this is a very well-rounded team with tons of skill and experience.

Tonight our MW2 division will be heading to hopefully claim another win in the March Mayham SnD Tournament which will then put them in the Semi Finals. For this match they will be facing Suave Gaming at 8 Eastern and for this match it will be casted by ClutchTV so look for the complete match details below. Best of luck tonight guys!
Sorry for the confusion everyone, just had to do a quick host switch. Took a little while till I could get a full backup of website. Also, anyone with an email for the website just let me know and I will back it up for you as soon as I can.
Thanks.

I would like to congratulate our 1.6 team on making it to the finals after playing a great match against Area 51 last night winning 16-14. Barely pulled it off some might say, but I think it was an all out frag fest, with each team dominating on Terrorist side of the map it was hard to get rounds as Counter-Terrorists. The grand finals for ESEA-Main 1.6 is tonight at 9:00 pm CST/10 pm EST against Packet Loss Pros or as most know them, Sway Gaming. They have already faced each other in the first round of playoffs with Sway winning 16-11 on dust2. Link
I would like to congratulate our Counter-Strike 1.6 team as they are now 5-1 in ESEA-Main Playoffs. They are fighting there way back through the lower bracket after a 1st round loss to Packet Loss Pros. They now face Area51 on de_dust2, as of now it is looking like they may have to 4v5 Area51 due to Spring Break and job issues. Let's hope that Area51 can agree upon a fair time to actually play this match and see who the better team is in the long run without taking an easy 4v5 or forfeit win. These two teams have had it out for each other the past two seasons, last season of CEVO-Main Area51 won to move on to the finals and Vicious-Gaming finished 3rd. Earlier this season in ESEA a matchup on de_lite was won by Vicious-Gaming 16-10 and later overturned.
This should be an exciting match and I hope I get to see it be played. This match decides placement of 2nd or 3rd, and also determines the payout. We will post HLTV info in our IRC channel the day of the match whenever it may be.

With week 8 of ESEA finishing up last week, we now have the finalized playoff schedules out and ready. We were very excited to hear that all three of our teams competing in ESEA have made a playoff spot. Our Counter-Strike 1.6 team is the #15 seed in ESEA-Main after a 10-6 regular season record and a little shaky near the end they pulled off the playoff spot. Our Counter-Strike Source team finished off the regular season at 9-7, barely making the 16th and final seeding in ESEA-Intermediate, all it took was winning against teams they needed to beat. The Team Fortress 2 team was 3rd overall in ESEA-Open with a bye to start off playoffs.
