The match was played on de_contra, and Vicious-Gaming started on Counter-Terrorist side. The beginning of the match was fairly calm as we took the first 5 rounds. Then Monstrous Five decided they would show up and win 3 rounds to make the score 5-3. After those 3 rounds were won by Monstrous Five, it was all she wrote. Vicious-Gaming won the remaining rounds to make the final score 16-3. This was the first league match together for this team and they showed what great chemistry they have already, early in the season. We will look forward to seeing more wins this season. For the upcoming schedule of Vicious-Gaming CSS go to http://esea.net/teams/28382 and everything is shown there.
Ok, so here we are again. I have made some changes and I like what I have done so far for Vicious-Gaming. First off, we have dropped our old CSS team and picked up another ESEA-Main team, UPDOG(previous team for Vicious-Gaming, but new faces). This team has been modified to be better than the previous, or at least in my opinion it is. Second, the TF2 team will no longer be with Vicious-Gaming for reasons we will not discuss further. As of today, we now have our first League of Legends team. I am happy to have expanded Vicious-Gaming into other types of games, it has been a while since we have done anything besides first person shooters. I will have more news in the upcoming weeks hopefully. I am trying to put together some nice divisions for everyone, so lets hope I can get this done as soon as possible.

Been a few weeks since the last update, but now we are looking better and stronger than I had imagined. Even though our 1.6 team had some roster issues and it has been a bit shaky for them lately, they seem to have pulled it all together and find the right 5 they need. As of today our TF2 team is ready to go and in the voting for an invite spot in ESEA, with a spot there they can really show everyone how well they are doing. They made a different team on the site, but they are the same players, just without all the league history on it. As for our CSS team, they are looking to be ready for the upcoming ESEA main season. The roster looks set, just small tweaks might be made from last season but other than that looking strong.
As for the management side of Vicious-Gaming, it is pretty much just me at this point in owning the organization. If anyone is interested in helping manage Vicious-Gaming please email me at corey@vicious-gaming.com and tell me a little bit about yourself and what you can bring to Vicious-Gaming.
I would like to say thanks to our sponsors for putting up with us over the last two seasons, they have done great. We hope to be with them for as long as they will have us. Any other companies needing to put your name out there feel free to send me a marketing proposal to corey@vicious-gaming.com and let me know what you are looking for as far as partnerships or even sponsorships go.
I am trying to make a better effort in making Vicious-Gaming larger, not just trying adding new games/divisions to the organization, but trying to strengthen our fan base. In the next few months I will be looking for different ways to do such a thing, so listen out for any of my news on the site or in our IRC channel.

Well I am sure everyone has seen it already that Arbalet is over. Vicious-Gaming did not make the top 16, which is disappointing in some aspects. The good that came out of our team at Arbalet is it is the 1st LAN as Vicious-Gaming, and of the roster. We were put into a group with some very tough teams, Oslo Lions and CompLexity. Those two teams have been playing together for longer than Vicious-Gaming's 1.6 team. After all the roster changes from the past few seasons I think they did pretty well. 0-2-1 is not the best, but if they prove themselves again in the upcoming CEVO and ESEA seasons they may end up at another LAN together.
Well as most everyone already knows this week is going to be a big one for our 1.6 team. After all the hard work they have put into the ESEA and CEVO seasons, going 12-4 in ESEA Main regular season and fighting out the 8th position in CEVO's professional division. They will be traveling to Dallas, TX to compete in the Arbalet Cup. They did not make it where they needed to be to participate in the LAN finals, but they will still have a great chance to compete for the $80,000 prize purse of the largest Counter-Strike tournament in the USA since CPL. There will be 32 teams competing July 16-18, most from the United States, but at least 10 from other countries. This should be an exciting event, and we hope to see Vicious-Gaming participating in more and more of these tournaments.
Our team members will be arriving in Dallas on the 13th and leaving on the 19th of July. They will have plenty of time to get ready in Dallas prior to the tournament. I will keep everyone up to date with any information while they are in Dallas, and also with any HLTVs to watch during the match. Everything should be available to the public through ESEA News (www.eseanews.com)

Ok, so it really has been a long time since I have updated. Rosters will be updated on the site soon. Also, I will discuss some things about Vicious-Gaming that should be happening shortly. As of now all our team will remain how they are, but could be some changes ahead. I will have any changes completed prior to the seasons of ESEA or any big LAN tournaments. Please keep up to date with everything that is going on with Vicious-Gaming in our IRC channel, #vicious-gaming. I will keep everyone posted up to the day in the topic, I am slacking on the website, but will have a bit more time to work with it now.

Ok, first off very sorry for not being as active. Here we go with our Vicious-Gaming update. As far as our teams go so far, we have our Counter-Strike 1.6, Team Fortress 2 and Quake Live teams still with us at this point. We are currently in the process of picking up a new Counter-Strike Source team, so if any team is interested please email corey@vicious-gaming.com with an inquiry.
On the ESEA side of things, our Counter-Strike team is coming back after two tough losses early in the season. They have now bounced back to 4-2 and in the top 15 rankings again for ESEA Main. This weeks matches are against some fairly decent opponents. Let's hope that our team strives to a 6-2 start and on there way to the top of ESEA Main. Our Team Fortress 2 team is amazing, that is all I have to say. They are now 6-0 and are awaiting probably the toughest matches they will see the rest of the season in the upcoming two weeks. They will be facing the last two undefeated teams as well as two 5-1 teams, all wanting to give them a tough time throughout the open season. If they can pull all four of these matches off they will start off at 10-0 and at the top of open by far. I wish them luck in there upcoming matches. Updates are in our IRC channel, #vicious-gaming and will be kept better on the website.

With ESEA about to start, I would like to congratulate all of our teams for being able to make it into the Invite polls(which really doesn't mean anything though). All 3 teams on ESEA placed in the top of their divisions last season and are all seeded high for the upcoming seasons. The updated rosters for the 3 teams are as follows:
I know this is a little over a week late, but I would like everyone to welcome our new Counter-Strike Source team to Vicious-Gaming. After a lot of drama and dealing with unstable teams I have decided to pick up Focal Point/Team Blindside as our new Source team. They are currently CEVO-Main and ESEA-Main. Last season of ESEA-IM they went 11-5 in the regular season and finished 2-2 in playoffs. They played very well in my opinion and that is why I am glad to see them come play under Vicious-Gaming. We will look forward to seeing how they perform in the upcoming seasons.
I think they have potential to breeze through playoffs to ensure a top 4 spot in ESEA as well as CEVO. Let's hope they do that, this is a very well-rounded team with tons of skill and experience.
